“Oh I don’t even know. You guys don’t tell me anything about your love life anymore, so I have to just wait and see. Rude!” The last thing her sister needed was to be desperate, because Brie was beautiful, smart, and funny, with a heart of gold, and any man would be lucky to have her. Brie just focused on her work too much, and she needed to slow down for a bit, and let herself have some fun. “Well, do you have anyone in mind? And listen, it’s not my fault John is a dumb ass. I just hooked them up, I didn’t make him an idiot.”
“Oh, you know that’s not true. I tell you everything about my love life, Brianna. Nicole is the one who keeps mum about it!” She responds with a roll of her eyes, finding her sister too funny. Brie thought about Brianna’s question, biting her lower lip as she thought and wondered if she was feeling anything for anyone.”No, not really. I just need some fun, I guess? No one specific. And John has become an idiot, hasn’t he?”
“Well I mean, do you have anyone you’ve got your eyes set on? You’ve been so focused on your career for so long, you haven’t really let yourself have time to date. There has to be someone. Let me play matchmaker! I did a good job with John and Nikki.” Brianna had actually been the one that set John and Nikki up, so she only felt it was right to do the same for her other sister.
“If I had set my sights on someone, don’t you think you’d know by now, Brianna?” Brie giggles, nudging her sister with her shoulder lightly before tilting her head. “I s’pose I could let you play matchmaker, simply because I pretty much feel desperate,” Brie snorts with a shake of her head before nodding in agreement. “Even if they are going through therapy over kids,” She adds.
“I haven’t forgotten it, I just don’t understand it, is all. I mean, you’re gorgeous, smart, funny as hell, I just don’t get why no one has swooped you up yet.” Brianna just shook her head at her sister when she said she wasn’t ready to settle down. “Brie, you aren’t getting any younger, you know? Just, don’t end up like Nicole and regret not ever having kids one day, because as much as she says she’s okay with it, you and I both know that’s complete bullshit.”
“Girl no, I definitely don’t plan on not having kids one day. I’m just not ready to settle down, alright? I mean, you and Nicole, you guys found your loves so fast. And in this business, most people do. But for me, it hasn’t been that easy, and who knows why.” She pauses here, shaking her head slightly before continuing with a lick of her lips. “If I think about it, I want to settle down, but I haven’t found anyone to do so yet, so..I’ll just take it as it is, Brianna.”
“I’m actually really happy for them! I don’t know why everyone thinks I’d be jealous, because I’m not at all. I think it’s great, and our babies will always grow up close. Well, if I get pregnant anytime soon. What about you? We all know Nikki won’t be making me an auntie, but what about you?? When are you gonna start popping kiddos out?”
Brie rolled her eyes playfully, getting used to be asking that from everyone around her. “Oh, I don’t know, probably when I find someone who loves me, date them, marry them and then talk about having kids. Everyone tends to forget that out of us three, I’m still single and mingling. Not only that, but I’m not ready to settle down too soon, admittedly.”
“Oh hush. You know I’m only rude to the ones I love the most, and you are my number one. Chill sista! Nikki’s boobs changed! Honestly, it’s like once she got those, she just went out of her way not to look like us anymore, which is cool. She’s always wanted to have her own identity. I happen to like being identical, but to each their own. I don’t have anything planned, but I don’t know if she wants to do this in Tampa or Phoenix. I’m guessing Phoenix since Lola really hasn’t been feeling great because of the babyyyyy!”
“Well, then you can be the absolute rudest to me! As if! I am always chill, Brianna. And oh man, I get wanting to be an individual, I’m sure we both do, but after those puppies came, she took it to an extreme! I think Phoenix makes most sense, that way we can be there to help with Lola. How’re you feelin’ about that, by the way? I know how much you want a little one of your own.”
“Actually, if we are being technical, I love JJ the most. You’re a close second, however. I’m kidding!! It’s so weird, but we all looked just alike when we were little. I don’t get it! Speaking of, Mom wants all of us to have dinner with her and Johnny, soon.”
“See, this is exactly what I’m talking about. Completely rude, you know. I should be a first, and he should be the close second. Even if you are kidding, yep. And yeah, I’ve seen the photos. We definitely looked alike. Can’t help but wonder what changed. Well, we can definitely do that, since neither of us have anything planned, right?”
“I actually can be more rude, but I choose not to be because you’re my sista. True, but Nicole looks a little different than we do. When I look at you I feel like I’m looking in the mirror.”
“That is true, you can be rude. But thank goodness you love me most, because I can be just as rude. And really, I know how you feel. It’s almost like we’re the twins and Nicole’s just…. a really close look-a-like.”
